Utah and Idaho

We were able to take a trip out west a couple of weeks ago. We flew into Salt Lake and got to do some visiting there and then we went to Idaho for almost two weeks. Scott was able to do a rotation that he loved while we were there. It was a nice vacation from work for me. We had a blast.

In Utah, we spent a fun filled day at Lagoon. Of course, the kids had a blast, and we were surprised at how fearless Caden was. He wanted to try everything, but he wasn't quite tall enough for some rides. He is 45" and most of the bigger rides required you to be at least 46". Next time we go it will be a lot of fun for him.

We got to see a lot of family in Utah

The kids were exhausted after our fun in Utah. They crashed in the car and we spent the night at Scott's mom's house before heading up to my parents cabin in New Meadows.

We made it up to the cabin and spent the fourth there. We did just a couple of fireworks because they weren't really allowed up there because it's such a fire hazard. It was just enough for the kids.

We made smores in the blistering heat, but we wanted to do it before the kids were too grumpy.

We spent some time on the 4-wheelers. Caden loved to ride, but it put Kali to sleep.

Spent some time on the boat.

And spent A LOT of time outside.

It was beautiful up there so I got some fun pics of the kids.

We had a lot of fun with family. It was great to see everyone.

My brothers and their families came up to the cabin and we (the boys) built a picnic table and carved our names in it.

We spent a day at the beach in McCall and the kids got super dirty, but they loved playing in the sand and water.
